Grizzly Bean Coffee House 4520 Mahoning Ave., Suite C Austintown, Ohio 44515 Grizzly Bean Coffee House This particular morning we had done a previous blog stop, but as we were on our way home we passed Grizzly Bean Coffee House. Someone had told us that we needed to stop there. We turned our car around and pulled into the drive. We needed some human fuel to turn the day around. The moment we walked through their doors we were certain that it was going to be a nice experience. Thank you Grizzly Bean and staff for saving us 👍 Both of us had to take a moment to decide what we wanted. They had a nice menu with plenty of options. This location has a diner style feel to it. Staff was upbeat, helpful, and when they weren't busy they were constantly working. At one point, we noticed an employee singing to a song playing on the overhead system. Great vibe!   The Christmas Cafe 7393 California Ave. #1 Youngstown, Ohio 44512 The Christmas Cafe Christmas in July 🎄 We had found out about The Christmas Cafe through Facebook. If anyone knows Bea, you know that she's a Christmas fanatic. So this was at the top of her list of places to visit.  Walking through the doors it felt like you were walking into Santa's workshop. An employee was at the counter to greet us. Everything on their menu looked so good and appetizing.  We need to stop right here ✋ The excitement soon died out after several things were noticed. They have a great concept and many decorations that would make you smile. For one, we know that around Christmas time it's supposed to be chilly and cold, but people don't want to walk into a coffee shop and have it freezing. If you've been following the blog then you will remember that last year we visited this location when it was under a different company all together. Bea is fond of this particular brand of coffee and so we wanted to visit an actual location. When it was announced that Erie Island Coffee Co. was moving in we were over the moon.  Since we had been at this location previously we already knew the setup, but wanted to take a few moments to look over their menu. We both ordered a Bumble Bee Latte. At first, you can taste the banana and then the sweetness of the honey and vanilla follow. Not, overly, sweet which is a plus.  Stopping here was on our way to dinner, but we wanted to try a little something from their baked goods. The Snickerdoodle Cookie called out to us. Creation Coffee 626 S. Main St. Frankenmuth, MI 48734 Creation Coffee A calm morning in Frankenmuth was the perfect opportunity to check out what the town had to offer without the big crowds. Through word of mouth it was suggested that we check out Creation Coffee. This was a perfect time for us to try it out.  Upon walking in we noticed that it was a bigger location with plenty of seating. Since it was early there weren't many patrons. While waiting for our order to be taken, John glanced over and saw that they had a bag of Rwanda coffee for sale. Well, besides Chicory this is one of Bea's favorites. You know that we had to pick up the very last bag they had on the shelf.  When we got home from Michigan you can guess that Bea made a pot of coffee using the Rwanda. Delicious!  For our visit we decided on a few items. Bea ordered a hot Lavender Latte, the first sip was hit with a hint of lavender followed by the sweetness of honey.
