Anna Bean Coffee Company

Anna Bean Coffee Company
361 4th St NW
Barberton, OH 44203

Who would have thought that in 1890, The Erie Depot, the first commercial building would go from being a rail station to a well known coffee shop in Barberton, Ohio? In 2022, Anna Bean Coffee Company became a new stop along the, once known, Erie Railroad. Not only, is this coffee shop full of rich history, but those of us on social media may have heard of the "Sign Wars 44203" in Barberton. Anna Bean Coffee Company was involved in the "sign war." For those of us that don't live in town, this is a fun and positive thing to see in a community. We feel that it drives people to come and see for themselves.

"April showers bring coffee flowers"

Our first impression of Anna Bean Coffee Company was curiosity. The outside alone piqued our interest to see what they had to offer. If you're into trains and history then this is the place for you. Coffee is just the icing on the cake.

Now let's get to the main important stuff...COFFEE! They have a good selection that covers anyone that visits. If you can't find anything that suits you then you might be in the wrong place.

After much debate and consideration we made our final decision. Bea had an iced Elvis latte and a croissant sandwich with egg, cheese and bacon. With the Elvis latte, the banana was the prominent flavor. Not overly sweet which is a plus in our eyes. The sandwich satisfied that morning hunger.
John wanted to stay with the continued Eclipse celebration by ordering a frozen Eclipse latte. If you love Moon Pies then this is the seasonal drink for you. For breakfast, he decided on Avocado toast.
To finish our order we added a small house coffee. It was a bit on the bitter side for our liking.

As we were waiting for our items another customer came in and started talking to us. She shared that her favorite drink was the Basic Witch Mocha. Which happens to be their #1 seller.

After we were done with our breakfast, Bea hinted around that she wanted to try one of their teas. Looking around it was seen that they carried Kiwi flavoring. What a perfect addition to the Summer months approaching. Plus, Bea loves Kiwi! The barista was so helpful with putting the perfect drink together for her. It was a combination of Green Tea, Kiwi flavoring with Kiwi Popping Pearls. One word sums it up...PERFECT!
John took it up on himself to add to his caffeine rush by ordering the Basic Witch Mocha. We had to see what the rave was all about. His review is that it was delicious, but please don't check your sugar afterwards.

Make sure you check their social media outlets for new items coming to the menu. Plus, we do need to add that there is plenty of parking for vehicles and motorcycles. Don't fret when you walk through the door and see limited seating. All you have to do is walk through another door to the outside patio that has plenty of seats. Be sure to pick up your coffee passport for the 2024 Drip Drive.
