Kaffee Haus 500 S. Main Street. Frankenmuth, MI 48734 Kaffee Haus After spending the night in Frankenmuth, MI. we took a few moments to stroll through the town while things were still calm, and not as busy. Kaffee Haus was located right across the street from our hotel, The Marv Herzog Hotel.   The Kaffee Haus was calling out to us. We knew that we had to stop and check them out. Boy, are we glad we did! Since it was a Sunday morning they weren't that busy, which was perfect for us. It gave us some time to really look at the menu and talk to the staff.  Bea found the perfect drink for herself. An iced Sweet Maple Pumpkin Latte, the perfect combination for an Autumn drink. Well pumpkin is acceptable anytime of the year if you ask Bea. We hope that some of our favorite coffee shops in Ohio bring this combination together and put it on their menu. Definitely, a favorite latte! Now with John he went in a little more different direction. He indulged in a hot Caramel Cinnamon Roll Latt

The Drip House

The Drip House 1336 S. Main St. Ann Arbor, MI 48104 The Drip House The excitement of being in Ann Arbor, Michigan made this a location we were really hoping for good things. Bea is a huge University of Michigan fan, and she was so excited to be visiting a coffee shop across the street from the Wolverines stadium. Well things didn't go according to plan. This location is right on the corner of a busy intersection. So you do need to be careful when pulling into the driveway. When we went it was an incredibly busy morning. Things were quite fast paced and you need to know what you want when you get up to the counter. We ordered the first thing that caught our eye.  Bea ordered a Blueberry Pancake Latte with Oatmilk. It was good, but nothing special. John decided on a Honey Lavender Latte. The drink was overbearingly sweet. We were hoping that their house blend coffee would redeem itself. Nope, it was bitter and not enjoyable.  One thing we would like to add is that their staff was ple

Karma Coffee & Kitchen 35634 Michigan Ave. Wayne, MI 48184 Karma Coffee & Kitchen Heading into Michigan we knew that our first stop on the Java Highway had to be at a location in Wayne, MI called Karma Coffee & Kitchen. It was pretty easy to find.  Walking through the doors you saw there was plenty of seating to accommodate quite a few people. We were so excited to try Karma Coffee & Kitchen. Since we had been traveling we weren't only going for coffee but needed to grab a bite to eat before heading to Ann Arbor. MI.  We took a few minutes to look everything over on the menu before making our selection. Bea knew what she wanted right away, so she settled on an iced Maple Latte. There is something about maple that is so refreshing. To go along with her latte she ordered an Meddie Veggie Wrap (Provolone, Vegetables sauteed in Italian, Tomatoes and Cucumbers). Very tasty wrap and quite filling. The iced Maple Latte was good and not overly sweet.  John was left undecide
