After spending the night in Frankenmuth, MI. we took a few moments to stroll through the town while things were still calm, and not as busy. Kaffee Haus was located right across the street from our hotel, The Marv Herzog Hotel.  


The Kaffee Haus was calling out to us. We knew that we had to stop and check them out. Boy, are we glad we did! Since it was a Sunday morning they weren't that busy, which was perfect for us. It gave us some time to really look at the menu and talk to the staff. 



Bea found the perfect drink for herself. An iced Sweet Maple Pumpkin Latte, the perfect combination for an Autumn drink. Well pumpkin is acceptable anytime of the year if you ask Bea. We hope that some of our favorite coffee shops in Ohio bring this combination together and put it on their menu. Definitely, a favorite latte!


Now with John he went in a little more different direction. He indulged in a hot Caramel Cinnamon Roll Latte. A quite refreshing drink that hit the spot!

We added a regular house blend of air roasted coffee from Asilynot Coffee Company. The coffee was refreshing, not acidic and no bitterness. Definitely a win! We were quite happy with our visit and it made for a great start for a trip back home. 


Next time you're in Frankenmuth, Michigan be sure to stop at The Kaffee Haus, you won't be disappointed!

On our way back home to Ohio we had to make a stop in Detroit to see our beloved Detroit Tigers play the Chicago White Sox.

Twisted Peacock Coffee Shop 888 Youngstown Kingsville Rd. Vienna, OH 44473 Twisted Peacock Coffee Shop We stumbled upon the Twisted Peacock Coffee Shop while scrolling through Facebook. Upon viewing what they had to offer we knew that a trip to Vienna was in order.  Saturday morning we arose from our coffee craving slumber. Got ready, piled into the car and made our way to get some coffee. We traveled about 30-45 minutes to get there. My father used to joke with us that we would drive 100 miles, one way, to get a cup of coffee. If he could see us now. The Cuyahoga River runs right through town. There are beautiful trails that you can walk along if being in nature is your happy place.
