Our Java journey brought us back, for a return visit, to Salem, OH. We ventured into a location with a unique twist. Rocketeria is a coffee shop that includes their love for music, arcade games and coffee. It gave off a vibe for a coffee shop you might discover on the Sunset Strip. Rock n' Roll lovers will fall in love with this shop. 



On our first visit Bea ordered the Iced Fluffernutter and John ordered an Iced Ziggy Stardust and a Pepperoni Cheese Bagel. A small house coffee (Nicaragua) was added to our order. Rocketeria does not roast their own coffee beans. The distributor that they use is Youngstown Coffee Co. We couldn't leave without grabbing an Iced Bourbon Caramel Latte. 




During our first visit a party was going on and things were a bit chaotic. This is why we decided to make a return visit. On our return visit, it was a lot more laid back and this gave us an opportunity to view more of the location and get a feel for the coffee shop. 

For this visit, Bea ordered an Iced Yellow Peep and John ordered a Hot Yellow Peep. This is a Peep lovers drink! In the back of the shop they have an Arcade. Talk about taking you back in time. We even attempted to catch a photo in the photo booth. It was an ultimate photo booth fail 🤣 

We had a nice visit with Gayle and Michael. We found ourselves not being able to leave until we had a cup of coffee in our hands. John ordered himself an Iced Maple Pancake and we both had a small cup of the Rocketeria blend. Definitely one of our favorites. 


What can we say? Salem, you've knocked it out of the park when it comes to coffee. We've met some really great locals, who offered their own suggestions. Thank you!
