Our visit to Asterisk Coffee Bar was on a recommendation from someone we, personally, know. She had stated that it was one of her favorites. We had been to a few other places in Cuyahoga Falls, but this wasn't one of them. They're located right on Front Street. Quite a busy location with moderate seating, inside and out. 

We had to park down a little ways and parking was limited. There is plenty of parking down the street, but make sure you have good walking shoes. Don't worry we had our New Balances laced up and ready to go. 

Walking through the door our first impression was that it was quite busy and congested. There was no system as to who was ordering and waiting for their orders. Several customers had to ask others if they "had ordered or not." That would be a good way to get people to speak to each other. Who knows 🤔

When it was our turn to order we settled on two Honey Cortados and a small House Blend coffee. First off, the Honey Cortados were very good. I think we both agree that we were impressed with their presentation of the Cortado. The House Blend coffee started off good and as you got near the bottom it became bitter and a bit much. Disappointed, was the only thing we could think of. We really wanted to love this coffee. Like all locations we ask if they roast their own coffee. We were told that the coffee is roasted through Akron Coffee Roasters.


There was a cozy couch that we settled in so we could enjoy a few moments together. The hunger bug had made an appearance, so we ordered a couple baked goods. The one staff member told us where the bakery came from and then when we went to leave we asked again to make sure that we had the proper information to post on the blog and we were told by another staff member that it was a local lady. She refused to give us any information. If a customer asks for information about your product you should be willing to release it. 

We will still reveal what bakery products we tried. Bea had a Figgy Pudding Bar and John had the Honey Rosemary Bar. Both of these products were delicious. I hope the coffee shop reveals who the baker is as they deserve a big shoutout.

She grew up in the area many years prior to heading off to Colorado to marry the love of her life...John. We were coming in the area for a concert and wanted to grab some coffee prior to meeting up with the other party.  While looking for a coffee shop, Little Birdie Wine Nest caught our attention. We looked over what they had to offer and thought it would make for a perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee or two. Frankenmuth, MI 48734 Kaffee Haus After spending the night in Frankenmuth, MI. we took a few moments to stroll through the town while things were still calm, and not as busy. Kaffee Haus was located right across the street from our hotel, The Marv Herzog Hotel.   The Kaffee Haus was calling out to us. We knew that we had to stop and check them out. Boy, are we glad we did! Since it was a Sunday morning they weren't that busy, which was perfect for us. It gave us some time to really look at the menu and talk to the staff.  Bea found the perfect drink for herself. An iced Sweet Maple Pumpkin Latte, the perfect combination for an Autumn drink.
