O'Neill Coffee Company

O'Neill Coffee Company
14 Fair Street
West Middlesex, PA 16159

Today, we headed to O'Neill Coffee Company in West Middlesex, PA. This was the first time that both of us had visited the location. It was very busy with a constant crowd. The shop was fully staffed with knowledgeable people that were willing to help if you needed it. When ordering, we had the opportunity to speak with one of the staff members. She had asked us where we were from and when we told her that we were there to do a review for our blog. She made a couple of recommendations for us to check out. Those locations have been added to the list.

Walking through the front door, you don't realize how big it is inside. Some of the things we were looking for was their selection of coffee products, cleanliness, and overall vibe of the location. Well, we can tell you that they have exceeded our expectations. One thing that we discovered when walking around is that on one of the back walls was bins full of single packets of coffee, tea and K-Cups. The single packets of coffee is enough for one pot (10 cups) of coffee. We were happy with this as we wanted to purchase some ground coffee to take home, but didn't know where to begin. The single packets gave us an opportunity to pick up several packets. The prices were quite reasonable. For 10 packets of coffee it was $14 or $1.55 a packet.

Roaming around the coffee shop we entered a back room, where they had a few more gift items to purchase and also in that room was a spacious area where people could sit and enjoy their beverages.

After we ordered our drinks we had to wait for a bit. They had a really good system so things didn't get confusing. When you finished your order you were given a number, and when your drink was done your number was called out. We didn't get that feeling, like in many places where you feel the "pick up" order counter is a major traffic jam.

John ordered the Fluffernutter Latte and Bea ordered the Bananas Foster Latte. The drinks were deliciously strong without the burnt taste. If you're anything like us you enjoy a nice strong coffee without it having the day old taste to it. We can tell you that with O'Neill Coffee Company you will not get that with their product.

Later, when we were at home, we decided to brew a packet of coffee. The Bananas Foster was the first one we tried. While the coffee was brewing, our house smelled as though we were back at the coffee shop.

We, both, enjoy drinking our coffee black. It's the best way to get its true flavor. Putting the cup up to your mouth, we were hit with the smell of banana. I followed it with the first sip and I can tell you that this coffee hit the spot.
