We saved this coffee location for our last day in Myrtle Beach. Previously, we had ordered several bags to try before coming down. Their coffee was one that I looked forward to in the mornings. So, when we planned on stopping in we had high expectations. When we arrived we got a combination of good vs. bad wrapped up into one. 

Approaching the cashier everything went accordingly, but that's where it stopped. The staff was overwhelmed, completely disorganized, not to mention that every single order that a customer made was messed up. At first, we thought maybe it was an off day. But one after another was a disaster with the customer line growing longer and longer. Several customers walked out due to chaos. 

After we placed our order we found a table where we could relax, and just get a vibe for the location. We were quite patient as we ordered a few different items from their menu. Bea had a pecan pie latte and a bacon croissant. The pecan pie latte was horrible. They missed the mark with flavoring. It resembled a café au lait which is not what was ordered. As for the bacon croissant it was delicious. John ordered a salty turtle latte and a jalapeno popper sandwich. Once again the latte was not very good. He stated that it resembled a caramel macchiato. Now the sandwich was a success. 




There were a few other items we wanted to try on the menu, by recommendation. A Bob Marley latte was ordered. Bea didn't really care for it, but John said it was a good drink. While we shared the latte the staff prepared a Cubano and a Turkish coffee for us. One word to sum these up. AMAZING! 



Since it was the beginning of October, we noticed on their Facebook that they released several Halloween drinks. One was the Pennywise latte, they hit the mark with this one. Excellent drink.


Overall, our feelings are a bit mixed on this location. Great coffee shop if there was a little more organization. A few of their drinks were spot on while the others missed the mark. The location is perfect with all the shops around them. Not to mention, there is plenty of parking. It's a location we would be willing to stop in again. Like we said it could have been an off day, maybe they were understaffed, etc. We did try some of their bagged coffee a few months before visiting and we have to admit that it's pretty good. We would have bought more, but decided against it after our visit.

She grew up in the area many years prior to heading off to Colorado to marry the love of her life...John. We were coming in the area for a concert and wanted to grab some coffee prior to meeting up with the other party.  While looking for a coffee shop, Little Birdie Wine Nest caught our attention. We looked over what they had to offer and thought it would make for a perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee or two. Frankenmuth, MI 48734 Kaffee Haus After spending the night in Frankenmuth, MI. we took a few moments to stroll through the town while things were still calm, and not as busy. Kaffee Haus was located right across the street from our hotel, The Marv Herzog Hotel.   The Kaffee Haus was calling out to us. We knew that we had to stop and check them out. Boy, are we glad we did! Since it was a Sunday morning they weren't that busy, which was perfect for us.
