Saturday we found ourselves visiting the next coffee shop on our java journey. The path led us to a small coffee shop in Brecksville, OH called Joe Maxx Coffee Company. This was a first time visit for both of us. 

Our first impression was that it was a smaller location, parking and space is limited. It reminded us of an old fashioned diner with counter seating. There were a few tables, but they would only accommodate 2 guests per table. For a smaller location they were quite busy.

Our turn to order came and we searched the menu for their signature drinks. Nothing was posted and we had to ask for them. Note~their signature drinks are posted on the drive thru menu. Bea ordered a hot Bumblebee (banana, vanilla and honey). John ordered a hot Black and Tan (peanut butter topped with whipped cream and ground cocoa). We also ordered a small house coffee. We would like to add that they do have different food options.




Finding a seat, at the counter, we waited for our drinks. The staff stayed busy and were quite friendly. The Bumblebee was delicious, a little on the sweeter side. The Black and Tan was good, but John liked the Bumblebee better. We both agreed on the house coffee that it was mediocre. It reminded us of donut shop coffee. 

We have talked about it and are willing to revisit this location at a later date.

Twisted Peacock Coffee Shop 888 Youngstown Kingsville Rd. Vienna, OH 44473 Twisted Peacock Coffee Shop We stumbled upon the Twisted Peacock Coffee Shop while scrolling through Facebook. Upon viewing what they had to offer we knew that a trip to Vienna was in order.  Saturday morning we arose from our coffee craving slumber.
