Friends of ours shared some exciting news with us. A new coffee shop was opening up in Hubbard, Ohio at the beginning of March. We had actually talked about visiting the shop for their grand opening, but we changed our plans as we wanted to be fair and allow them a few weeks to work out any kinks. It was well worth the wait. 


The coffee shop is located right on N. Main St. with parking on the side of the building, between Woodland Cellars and Sigaro Cigar Lounge. Woodland Cellars is located behind KT's Coffee Talk. The parking lot is motorcycle friendly.

KT's Coffee Talk is a small, intimate coffee shop with limited seating. They have  several options with a paltry amount of signature drinks. But don't let that stop you from indulging yourself. John and Bea ordered a medium iced chocolate covered strawberry latte (Strawberry, chocolate sauce). What did we think, you ask? We both agree that it was a chocolate covered strawberry in liquid form. You didn't feel as though you were drinking a bottle of syrup. Magical Elixir!


Upon further discussion, we got to talking about honey. Anyone that knows Bea knows that she's a bee and honey fanatic. This led to drinking one of the best cups of hot green tea (Ginkgo) with honey from The Bee Project (Williams Apiary). It was a bit citrusy with a flowery touch. 




The staff is very nice and sociable. Any questions you may have they're knowledgeable and will help you pick the right drink. O'Neill Coffee Co. is their distributor since they don't roast their own beans.

When you visit take an opportunity to look at all of their decorations. One in particular is the world's biggest coffee cup. To us, that would be a cup for a regular morning. You know you all can relate!

Twisted Peacock Coffee Shop 888 Youngstown Kingsville Rd. Vienna, OH 44473 Twisted Peacock Coffee Shop We stumbled upon the Twisted Peacock Coffee Shop while scrolling through Facebook. Upon viewing what they had to offer we knew that a trip to Vienna was in order.  Saturday morning we arose from our coffee craving slumber. Got ready, piled into the car and made our way to get some coffee. We traveled about 30-45 minutes to get there. My father used to joke with us that we would drive 100 miles, one way, to get a cup of coffee. If he could see us now. The Cuyahoga River runs right through town. There are beautiful trails that you can walk along if being in nature is your happy place. One of the most interesting things that Peninsula has is the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad .
