Arriving in Myrtle Beach, SC we got ourselves settled in our home for the next few days. After a little rest we found ourselves checking out the sites. The ocean was music to our ears. Taking a few twists and turns we found ourselves on N. Ocean Blvd in front of HiFi Coffee Bar. Well we all know that you can't pass up a coffee shop. It wasn't busy when we visited, but during peak hours one can assume that this place is booming with customers. 


We were a bit exhausted after traveling and it was a bit warm outside. So after a small stroll on the Boardwalk we located HiFi Coffee Bar and strolled in. The staff was pleasant and helpful. We both ordered an iced Maple Pumpkin Macchiato and a cup of their house blend from Java Estate Roastery in North Carolina. Both of the drinks were good. The coffee was not burnt or bitter tasting. 

One thing we do need to talk about is the cookies they have for sale. Bea had a White Chocolate Chip Cookie and John went with the Key Lime Pie Cookie from Casey's Cookieworx. John has gone on record to say that it was one of the BEST cookies he's ever tasted. Definitely, a nice treat when one doesn't want ice cream, etc. 

If a cookie is not something you're looking for then don't fret. They do have other items you can choose from. 





Definitely, a coffee shop where you can get a decent cup of coffee!

Coffee and the ocean...a great combination while the sun shines and the waves roll onto the beach.

She grew up in the area many years prior to heading off to Colorado to marry the love of her life...John. We were coming in the area for a concert and wanted to grab some coffee prior to meeting up with the other party.  While looking for a coffee shop, Little Birdie Wine Nest caught our attention. We looked over what they had to offer and thought it would make for a perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee or two. Frankenmuth, MI 48734 Kaffee Haus After spending the night in Frankenmuth, MI. we took a few moments to stroll through the town while things were still calm, and not as busy. Kaffee Haus was located right across the street from our hotel, The Marv Herzog Hotel.   The Kaffee Haus was calling out to us. We knew that we had to stop and check them out. Boy, are we glad we did! Since it was a Sunday morning they weren't that busy, which was perfect for us. It gave us some time to really look at the menu and talk to the staff.  Bea found the perfect drink for herself. An iced Sweet Maple Pumpkin Latte, the perfect combination for an Autumn drink. Well pumpkin is acceptable anytime of the year if you ask Bea. We hope that some of our favorite coffee shops in Ohio bring this combination together and put it on their menu.
