Cellar Door Coffee Co. 8138 Water St. Garrettsvillle, OH 44231 Cellar Door Coffee Co. After a bit of revamping and gathering our thoughts, we ventured back out on the Java Highway. This week we found ourselves at Cellar Door Coffee Co. in Garrettsville, Ohio.  This was our first time visiting this location. We did check out their website prior to arriving to try and get an idea of what they had to offer. We will do research on locations prior to our arrival. Cellar Door Coffee Co. had quite a few items to choose from, including food, bakery, drinks and even ice cream. Their ice cream comes from  Cockeye Creamery  a local creamery from Warren, Ohio. One important piece of information that needs to be mentioned is that Cellar Door Coffee Co. has prices that are reasonable.  The coffee shop is quite busy and has a constant flow of people.   Tree City 135 E. Erie St. Ste 101 Kent, OH 44240 Tree City We took the weekend off, but wanted to make sure that you got a new blog from us this week. Tree City was a location we visited last weekend. It was quite a busy location and things were a bit hectic when we were there. Don't fret they do have many tables for seating. They had quite a few items on their food and drink menu. Their Spring menu had many options for those that may be undecided. We asked the employee a few questions on their menu and unfortunately he couldn't answer. His response was "this is my first day back and I'm not sure what everything is." So we just went with the first things that jumped out at us. Nova Coffee Co. 112 N. Park Ave Warren, OH 44483 Nova Coffee Co.   Saturday morning we got ourselves up, got dressed and made our way into Warren, Ohio to visit a coffee shop, per two recommendations. The location we stopped at this past weekend was right in the heart of Warren. Nova Coffee Co. is located in the square. We were fortunate to find a parking spot close to the shop. During the work week we could imagine how difficult it might be to find any kind of parking. We didn't see any public parking locations, not to say there isn't any. The parking spots can accommodate motorcycle parking.  First, walking into the coffee shop we were met with a crowd of people. This is a busy location with limited seating. There was no place for us to sit, so we decided with it being a gorgeous day that we would take a walk around the square.   KT's Coffee Talk 218 N. Main St. Hubbard , OH 44425 Friends of ours shared some exciting news with us. A new coffee shop was opening up in Hubbard, Ohio at the beginning of March. We had actually talked about visiting the shop for their grand opening, but we changed our plans as we wanted to be fair and allow them a few weeks to work out any kinks. It was well worth the wait.  The coffee shop is located right on N. Main St. with parking on the side of the building, between Woodland Cellars and Sigaro Cigar Lounge . Woodland Cellars is located behind KT's Coffee Talk. The parking lot is motorcycle friendly. KT's Coffee Talk is a small, intimate coffee shop with limited seating. They have  several options with a paltry amount of signature drinks. But don't let that stop you from indulging yourself. Main St. Hudson, OH 44236 Open Door Coffee Company We found ourselves heading out to Macedonia, OH for dinner when we were reminded that we needed to stop in Hudson to pick up some hot sauce at Heather's Heat and Flavor . Once we parked, picked up our bottles of heat, it dawned on us that there was a coffee shop that was a quick walk down the road. Feeling a bit down on this week's coffee blog we decided to make our way up the road. On the corner was Open Door Coffee Company. Overcome with excitement we walked up to the counter. An employee greeted us, and when we told her that it was our first time there she pointed out some selections and explained their coffee options.  Bea ordered a hot Peanut Butter and Honey Latte. Bent Tree Coffee Roasters 313 N. Water Street Kent, OH 44240 Bent Tree Coffee Roasters This past Saturday we made a stop in to Bent Tree Coffee Roasters in Kent, Ohio. Locals stores in the area are known to carry their products. One of the products often seen is their Snapchill coffee.  "What is Snapchill? The Snapchill process involves hot brewing coffee to develop the best possible flavor and instantly chilling it to 38* to prevent oxidation. The coffee is then immediately canned to preserve nuanced flavors." ~Bent Tree Coffee Roasters Last week, we had the opportunity to try a can of the Black Squirrel Blend and the Ethiopia Lalissa. Both are worth a try, but we preferred the Black Squirrel Blend.  This busy location has very limited space. There is plenty of parking in the front and on the street.
